    Two die in double-decker bus accident  Jun 2, 2009
    Justin Sleezer, 22, of Yorkville and Cameron Chana, 22, an Eastern Illinois University student from Clarendon Hill, died from traumatic head injuries at 2:10 and 3:24 a.m., respectively, Sunday in the Carle Foundation Hospital surgical intensive care unit at Urbana, said Champaign County Coroner Duane E. Northrup during a phone interview Sunday afternoon. Both reportedly stood up on the eastbound bus just prior to passing under the overpass at 7:24 p.m. Saturday. (Mattoon Journal-Gazette, IL)

    2 killed on double-deck bus  Jun 1, 2009
    Champaign County Coroner Duane E. Northrup said Justin Sleezer of Yorkville and Cameron Chana of Clarendon Hills died early Sunday at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Police said Sleezer and Chana both stood up Saturday night just before the eastbound bus passed under I57 on Illinois Route 16. (Mattoon Journal-Gazette, IL)

    Two plead guilty in local group home case  May 13, 2009

    40-year-old Clinton man dies in crash  Apr 14, 2009
    Pister was pronounced dead at 6:46 a.m. at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, and Stultz at 6:54 a.m. at the scene.     Man gets life for fatal shooting of Douglas deputy  Mar 12, 2009
    Taken to Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Martin underwent 10 surgeries over ensuing weeks but died July 17, 2007, from infection. Griffith said there was an issue over the cause of death but after the defense team reviewed 2,300 pages of Martin s medical treatment records they concluded Martin s gunshot wounds prevented him from recovering from the infection.
